MANDATORY VOLUNTEERING REQUIREMENTS
In order to ensure the safety of all our students, the District requires all volunteers to be approved. The process you go through to be approved depends on the capacity in which you will be volunteering.
SITE VOLUNTEER
A site volunteer is someone who performs volunteer duties on Pinnacle campus and you will not be alone with any students at any time. Example volunteer tasks include helping out at football games where you are handing out water, moving music stands, setting up bleacher covers, or pushing equipment/instruments. An on-site volunteer simply needs to fill out the form linked below and submit it to the Pinnacle Front Office for processing and approval.

CHAPERONE VOLUNTEER
A chaperone volunteer is someone who will accompany students on off-campus field trips and events, such as band competitions. A chaperone volunteer may be in situations where they are alone with students and responsible for their safety. To be approved as a chaperone volunteer you must apply through the PV District job portal, complete a notarized form, and pass fingerprint and background checks. This process can be lengthy and may take several weeks to be processed, so we encourage you to begin the process as soon as possible if you want to volunteer as a chaperone. We cannot allow anyone to help at events without first being cleared by the District.
